Claresholm is a southern Alberta town located halfway between Calgary and Lethbridge and historically was a centre for ranching and agriculture along the Canadian Pacific railway line.  Today Claresholm is an active town for agriculture supplies, home to the Agriplex that hosts year round events for horses and cattle which bring in many visitors, has an industrial airport and a regional hospital.
